Get students familiar with the main characters in the play including: Duncan, Macbeth, Lady Macbeth, Macduff, Three Witches, Lady Macduff, Ross, and Malcolm. Or use these worksheets as revision to solidify what students already know or may have forgotten.
The worksheets consist of 6 questions. the first asks students to explain how Shakespeare uses language to show the characters personality, the second asks students to identify which methods have been used by Shakespeare to portray the character in a particular scene, the third section asks students to give 10 words to describe the character, the fourth section asks students to annotate a provided quote from the play by the character, the fifth section asks students to choose a scene from the play involving the character and recall the story line, the sixth and final section is a quick one which ask students to define a given language technique
